Tessa Netelbeek, DPT, SCS, CSCS
Tessa grew up playing in the Wasatch mountains and rehabilitating from various sports injuries, which initially sparked her passion to pursue physical therapy as a career. She graduated from the University of Utah (GO UTES!) with a BS in Kinesiology, followed by attending the University of Montana for her physical therapy degree (DPT), and then completed a Sports Residency program in Evansville, IN. Upon completion of residency, Tessa achieved an additional board certification (SCS) to become a Specialist in Clinical Sports Physical Therapy.
Tessa’s primary focus is individualized patient care based on a movement approach. She places value on each patient and their specific goals to help create the most optimal rehab plan.
Additionally, Tessa is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS), is certified in functional dry needling (CertDN), and has multiple movement specialty certifications from Functional Movement Systems (FMS).
Having played a lot of sports over the years, Tessa has a special interest in athletic knee rehabilitation but treats all musculoskeletal injuries. Outside of the office, Tessa is very active in soccer and volleyball leagues, and also enjoys hiking, skiing, and spending time with her family.
